Woman killed in car accident

A car accident at Yomitan Auxiliary Airport killed a female driver of a car and injured her passenger, Saturday. According to Kadena Police, Yoshimi Okuma was killed when her car turned on its side. A 24-year old woman who was in the passenger seat suffered minor injuries. Investigators say that Okuma’s car turned on its side and crushed the driver to death when it fell off the paved area into the sugar field.

The police are investigating the cause of the accident. This accident follows another which occurred on November 28, at Yomitan Substitution Airport, locates 500 meters south of Yomitan Auxiliary Airport.
