Wee Care University provides a home away from home

Three little kiddies went to Wee Care and then smiled all the way home. Wee Care wants to provide children with a "home away from home." Mr. Hillary Williams, CEO of Wee Care University, emphasizes that they "cater to the military, DoDD's, and civilian personnel's families and will fulfill their demands to the fullest." The children are divided into groups depending upon their age and are taught and cared for accordingly. The older children use High Reach Learning Curriculum, are taken on field trips and periodically visit nursing homes. The younger children are on the second level of the 2-story building and have various activities to stimulate their minds. During the holidays, an activity is planned to celebrate and teach the kids about these special days. In celebration of Halloween, on Oct. 30th, the children dressed up in costume if they desired, paraded around for each other, played games like Hot Pumpkin (Hot potato) and Pumpkin Toss, and then enjoyed some treats.

Parents should bring meals for their child, and the daycare providers will prepare the meals for the kids. All providers are CPR certified and have at least a 2yr. degree or a few years of experience working with children. Being overseas may put you in a bind in terms of finding a babysitter at the last minute, because you can't take your children to their aunt or uncle's, their grandparents', or a close friend's house. Since Wee Care is open 24 hrs. a day--7days a week, it is very convenient for those inopportune times when you need assistance. Parents are also welcome anytime to drop in or stay with their children in this comfortable and warm environment.

Pre-school is offered from 9A.M.- 11 A.M., Monday -Friday for only $28. There is a registration fee of $10 per child. Drop-in fees per hour range from $3.50/per child. Weekly carepacks for 20 hours is $43.20 ($2.40/hr.) and gets cheaper the more hours you have for as low as $86.40($1.92/hr.) for 50 hours. Transportation is also available for those children in need for a small fee. Walk-ins are welcome, but appointments are preferred. They accept children 4 months and older.

Wee Care University has an English-speaking staff and is happy to answer any questions you may have about the facility. Tel.# 098-926-2549 Directions: Heading north on Hwy.58, take a right onto 23. Just under the overpass next to Bobby's car lot on the left, you'll see Wee Care's white building.
