This festival is one of the premier events for Americans to learn about the Ryukyuan people and actively participate in Ryukyuan culture; something few American ever get a chance to do. For Okinawans, and Japanese, it’s a chance to learn more about the heritage and splendor of the Ryukyus. Bring the entire family and yen for snacks.
