Slippin' and slidin' at The Family WaterparkBy: Steven Rollins Date Posted: 1998-09-04 Getting to the park is as easy as the park is fun. Coming north on Route 330, turn right on Route 329, then left at the next lighted intersection (go under the bridge on the left), and then look for the park on the right, after about a kilometer. Coming south on Route 75 (as in from Camp Courtney), turn left on Route 85, then right on Route 224 (just before you go down the hill) and look for the park on the left, after about a half kilometer. Whichever way you come, the tube slides are clearly visible, towering about most of the other building, and provide a good aiming point to guide you. No food is allowed inside the park area, but quick snacks and drinks are available at reasonable prices. Outside, parking is plentiful. Admission is ¥800 for adults, ¥400 for junior and high school students, and ¥300 for elementary school age children. The fun, relaxation and reasonable prices make the TFW an ideal spot on a hot day. Come for the excitement or comet o relax. Come for a quick break or come to spend the day. But come to The Family Waterpark. You'll be happy you did. |
