Woman who attempted suicide arrested second time

A 22-year old woman who entered into a suicide pact with her 36-year old boyfriend and subsequently jumped from a Manzamo cliff in Onna Village into the ocean with her boyfriend and their 1-year old son, was arrested for the second time, by Ishikawa City Police, on suspicion of killing her son.

The couple with their son jumped from the cliff Aug. 5. The man and the son died, but the woman survived. According to police investigation, Kuniko Ota, 22, was first arrested on suspicion of assisting a suicide, and was now re-arrested on suspicion of killing her son.
