Lovesick woman stabs man, arrestedDate Posted: 1998-08-21 According to Urasoe Police, Keiko Uema visited the supermarket in the morning and tried to talk to the salesclerk whom she obviously had a crush for. The man, however, didn't pay any special attention to the women, and feeling rejected, she later returned to the shop with an awl and stabbed the man who had earlier spurned her attention. The man suffered injuries on his chest and arms and was taken to a hospital where he remains in fair condition. None of the injuries he received in the attack is life-threatening. The woman was subdued by other staff and held until police arrived. The woman reportedly told police that she attacked the man because he refused to go steady with her. |
