Reckless driving kills motorcyclist, two injured

A motorcycle driver was killed, and two others injured after he lost control of his bicycle in Yomitan, Monday. Police suspect that speeding and reckless driving are reasons for the accident. According to Kadena Police, Yoshikazu Nakayasu, 26, was riding his bike with two of his friends on the back. None of the three wore a helmet when the accident occurred. When the bike entered a curve, Nakayasu apparently lost control and crashed into a concrete sidewalk block and then into an utility pole. Police also suspect that they had been speeding.

After the crash, Nakayasu was taken to a hospital where he died of multiple injuries. The two friebnds were also hospitalized with broken ribs and other injuries and are listed in fair condition. The two friends were drunk at the time of the accident and the police are now trying to determine whether Nakayasu was also drunk.
