Volvo captures the customers' hearts

According to a worldwide customer poll taken by the Volvo head office in Sweden regarding who was the ultimate dealership in customer satisfaction, Okinawa's Volvo Military Sales topped the charts.

This marks the first year Volvo gave out this annual award to one of their 120 dealers who serve the military, diplomats, and expatriates. "The customer comment cards people fill out after buying a car really do make a difference," says James Brunt, General Manager of Volvo Military Sales Okinawa. He continues "It's very rewarding getting this kind of recognition from the customers because unlike other dealerships, military dealerships rarely have repeat customers because most people go back to the states. It's nice to know there are many satisfied customers out there."

Brunt started his sales career with Volvo in 1984 in London, England, and came to Okinawa almost five years ago. He credited his sales staff, Minori Nema and Herb Overton, for making a team effort that made it possible to win this prestigious award.
