Pietro is a popular Italian-style restaurant for many shoppers and workers in Naha. The cozy bistro is located on the second floor of OPA Shopping Center. Besides its convenient location, the excellence and variety of its entrees have attracted many patrons.

As an escalator slowly reaches the second floor, an aria-singing mascot appears in front of you. One step forward from the escalator, there's a showcase displaying a variety of pasta dishes. Don't rush to make up your mind about what you have until you open the menu, because you have seen nothing yet. When it comes to the number of pasta dishes, probably no one can beat Pietro. Over 70 kinds of spaghetti entrees are regularly offered, including short pasta, seasonal pasta, the restaurant's original pasta dishes. Siciliano (1,200), Salmon and Spinach Cream Sauce (1,300), Seafood Pasta (1,300), Bacon and Eggplant (880), and Shrimp and Mushrooms (800) are just some of the favorites. 300 buys and extra large serving of pasta.

Besides the entrees from the menu, dishes can be "custom made" and the patrons can request their own dish selecting the ingredients and sauce. The ingredients can be mixed from the menu, and if not listed there, your special can be created on the premises.

Other dishes on the menu include 10 kinds of thin-crusted pizzas with fresh tomato-based and cream-based toppings and three kinds of risotto. The price of the pizzas and risotto range from 900 to 1,200 and 650 to 950 respectively.

Lunch is served from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and costs 700. The lunch sets come with one pasta dish, a drink, and two choices from salad, bread, and soup.

A selection of fine wines from Italy, South Africa, Chile, and Argentina are available by the bottle and the glass.

For a cup of Espresso after your meal, go downstairs to the first floor where an espresso bar, Da Vinci, offers over 40 kinds of Cappucino, Latte, and Aulait.

To get to Pietro, take Highway 58 from Kadena to Naha. At Tomari intersection, turn left and go along the street until you can turn right to Kokusai Street. On the left at the fourth traffic light, you'll see the OPA building. Pay parking is available on side streets.
