Would be bank robber arrestedDate Posted: 1998-07-24 According to Naha Police, the man who they described as in his mid thirties, entered the bank with his face hidden with a cloth. He had a kitchen knife in his hand and was carrying a sports bag. He then placed the bag on the service counter and demanded that the teller put money in the bag. However, his appearance had raised the security guards' suspicion at the moment he entered the bank and when he made his demand they had already placed themselves right behind him and were able to tackle him down immediately. Other bank personnel had also alerted the police who arrived at the scene and arrested the man. |
