Naha Police looking for hit and run driver

A 22-year old woman was hit by a car when crossing the street in Naha, Thursday. The woman fell down on the street, and the car sped away. The woman got injuries on her body requiring seven days of treatment at a hospital.

According to Naha Police, the woman was crossing the road at a crosswalk when a car attempted to turn right at the intersection. After hitting the woman, the car drove away without stopping. A taxi driver who saw the accident called the police who is now trying to identify the car and the driver.
