Nago traffic woes continue

Nago City has seen more than its share of fatal traffic accidents lately with a total of five people dead in one month, and the bad trend seems to continue. A head-on collision of two dump trucks resulted in the death of one of the truck drivers, Tuesday.

According to Nago Police, Hoko Nakamura, 46, was carrying a load of stones on Highway 58, when his truck collided head on with a similar truck driven by Yu Chinen, 51. Chinen's truck had slippen on the wet road and turned on its side sliding to the opposite lane. Nakamura was killed instantly.
