Volvo Sponsors Event to Lend a Hand to Needy

The Volvo dealership of Okinawa is proud to have supported the "Admiral Boorda Center for Families with Special Needs 5K Run/Walk." Volvo donated the t-shirts for the event. This event raised over $1,100 for the Center and for families with special needs. In the very near future, a check from the Okinawa Medical Services Corps Association will be sent to the Uniformed Services for the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. A special congratulations go to the following winners of the event:

1st Place: Kelly Brown and Robert Gallop
2nd Place: Julie McCahill and Lt Jeff Johnson
3rd Place: Gwendolyn Garfield and Dave Elger
4th Place: Jaqueline Richardson and Anthony Sparamo
