Tragic accident kills 4

An entire family was killed in a tragic automobile accident along Route 200 in Fukuoka Prefecture on Sunday. Yasushi Sakaguchi, 31, was driving home from work with his wife, Mieko, 31, daughter Arina, 5, and small baby, Marumi.

Mr. Sakaguchi attempted to consecutively pass two large commercial trucks when his car's right fender brushed the left door of the first truck. The car veered into oncoming traffic and was hit head-on by another large commercial truck. The family was killed instantly from the impact. Police arrested Mitsuyoshi Tatsu, 43, the driver of the truck which struck the car, shortly after the accident.
