DRMO Top Supervisor

Battle Creek, Mi. - Jamie Ramos, supervisor in the property management branch at the Defense Reutilization and marketing Office (DRMO) Okinawa, was recently selected one of the top ten employees of the Defense Reutilization and Marketing Service (DRMS). The DRMS is responsible for the disposal of excess personal property no longer needed by the military services and employs over 3600 personnel worldwide. From the headquarters in Battle Creek, Mich., the disposal mission is managed through the DRMOs located in 44 states and 20 foreign countries.

Ramos has been a major contributor toward the success that DRMO Okinawa has experienced. He has continuously enhanced overall operations at the DRMO through his ability and enthusiasm in performing the many duties he has undertaken. His duties include receiving supervisor, demilitarization coordinator, precious metals monitor, and acting property management branch chief. His high level of performance and ability to motivate employees make him an invaluable part of DRMO Okinawa.
