Illegal car loan gets man arrestedDate Posted: 1998-02-28 According to police, Uchima started a conversation with a friend and complained about his money problems. He told the friend, "I would like to open a coffee shop but have no money to do it. I'm going to repair people's cars and earn the money. Could you advance me ´50,000 and let me fix your car?" The man agreed but soon after, noticed his car driving near Ishikawa City. Other people told him they had also seen the car on the road. When the owner went to check out these allegations, he found his car and noticed no repairs had been made. He called police and Uchima was later arrested. |
