Driver arrested for failing to report fatal accidentDate Posted: 1998-02-28 Yasuo Nerome, 54, was driving above the speed limit, when the wheel of his car hit the curb. The vehicle went onto the sidewalk and crashed into a fence outside a local business. Nerome's passenger was killed instantly from internal injuries. The driver failed to contact the police or call for an ambulance and when authorities arrived at the scene, the stunned Nerome was arrested. |
