So how was your Valentine's Day? Did your special someone forget the wine and dine? Well, Four Seasons Restaurant has the answer to the "you owe me" blues, or for those persistent calls from your empty stomach for that matter.

The Four Seasons has actually three restaurants. All Under the same management. They all offer a large variety of steak, pasta and seafood dishes. Each restaurant offers these dishes in style. Four Season Nakanomachi Branch, a long-time favorite of the U.S. Military community on the island offers a teppan yaki style meals. Four Seasons Jr., in Hamby Town, offers light meals in a casual atmosphere.

I decided to try the heartier menus options available at the new Miyasato branch of the Four Seasons. Menus are in both in English and Japanese and contain everything from eggplant and cheese to Italian Beef Sashimi Filet. My co-worker and I decided that we would try sets. My set was the Fish and Steak, a seven course meal for only 3,000. This included two appetizers, vegetables and spaghetti, fresh salad with salmon, a wonderful cream soup, Okinawan buttered fish, steak , bread or rice, dessert and coffee. It was simply marvelous!

The steak was well seasoned and tender while the fish was fresh and tasty. I especially loved the salad with its combination of vegetables and salmon. It made a big impression on me.

My co-worker tried another set that included six courses with a choice of Seasonal Fresh Fish or Beef Filet and garlic sauce, salad of the day, soup, bread or rice, desert and coffee or tea.

After hearing her rave over her choice I still feel that it was hard to beat my meal. The service was quick and the waitress was very attentive to our needs.

Lunch is served for 11:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Dinner is served from 12:30 p.m. - 11:00 p.m. For more information call 933-5731.

To get to Four Seasons Miyasato Branch, drive straight out through Kadena Gate 2 and continue until you reach Hwy 329. Turn left and the restaurant will be on your right on the top of the hill. Free parking is vailable outside the restaurant.
