New Okinawan TV drama series unveiled

Okinawa Television Co. (OTV) made a public announcement, Thursday, regarding a new serial drama “Koi-no-uta,” meaning “the song of love,” scheduled to start broadcasting next April.

According to the announcement, the entire cast would be selected from the public and everything including music and locations should be related to Okinawa. The company is expecting that the new drama would create a new movement among the younger generation in Okinawa. The storyline will be a regular romance using Okinawan nature and clear sea as the background.
