Three held for running home delivery prostitution ring

The Urasoe and Prefectural Police, Juvenile Section, arrested three men on Thursday, on charges of violating the Prostitution Prohibition Law and other related ordinances. They were questioned on hiring several runaway junior high school girls and enticing them to work as prostitutes. They also had created a system to deliver the girls to their customers.

Those arrested are a 45-year-old owner of a chain of sex shops, a 45-year-old jobless man, and a 22-year-old man who had been introducing the girls.

According to the police investigation, the suspects were running a snack bar in Okinawa City, and a sexual massage delivery company called “Alice Japan”. They were using used car magazines for advertising their business. According to the advertisements, they charged ¥16,000 per hour for the service. Including in the service, they brought the girls to a hotel or house the customer designated. The girls dealt with five or six customers a day, earning around ¥50,000 for themselves.
