Okinawa soccer team scores victory in finals

Okinawa Kariyushi FC defeated Kyushu INAX, 3-2 in over time in the final match of the D group of the 37th Kyushu Soccer Tournament, Monday, held at Saga Sports Field.

Kariyushi FC has made its way to the All Japan Soccer Tournament two consecutive years. The tournament is scheduled for November in Kochi Prefecture.

Kariyushi scored first, then the Kyushu INAX scored two goals in the first half. In the second half, Ramos Rui, Kariyushi’s coach and former member of Japan’s national soccer team entered the game to help the team to get back their wind. He assisted one goal to make the game even. The game finished when Kariyushi’s midfielder, Takuya Sato succeeded with his penalty kick.
