Police Try To Stop 24 Hour Supermarket Crime

Naha police have been patrolling 34 late night supermarkets, checking alarms and security cameras, as a crime prevention measure. They have also advised the store managers not to keep too much cash in their registers.

Twenty five members of the 24-Hour Supermarket Crime Prevention Association also took part in the exercise. In Okinawa there have been a total of five burglaries at 24-hour supermarkets this year.
