Flat Rate Internet Connection Becomes AvailableDate Posted: 2000-12-01 Now things are promising to change for the better. NTT, the national telephone carrier, has introduced a service where the telephone charge for the Internet use is a flat ¥4,500 per month, regardless of the time the user is on the net. The service is available with Internet providers who already have a contract with NTT. In Okinawa, the new service will be available starting Dec. 5 in Naha, Urasoe, Okinawa, Ginowan and Nago cities.
