Troupe Warabiza’s ‘21 Hisho’: A collaboration of taiko, song and dance

Troupe Warabiza celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2001. To commemorate that momentous event, "21 Hisho" was created utilizing the enormous energy of all its members, highlighting every one of the troupe’s unique features and bursting with life for everyone the 21st century. “21 Hisho” consists of two sets, with the first full of taiko drumming and dancing. The second set will have more drama based on Japanese folk entertainment but will be easy to understand even if you do not speak the language since the performers rely on energetic dancing and singing rather than words. Experience the positive common nature that we all have within ourselves through “21 Hisho.”
