Monorail tests to startDate Posted: 2001-08-16 Okinawa Prefecture has started recruiting drivers, technicians and office workers for the monorail line. The employment examination for the new workers will be held on Sep. 30. Prefecture officials responsible for the development of the monorail are talking seriously about the possibility of hiring the first female monorail driver in Japan. Reportedly they are also considering inviting the public to submit designs of the employees' uniforms. |
