Elderly woman killed in traffic accident

28-year-old woman driving her car hit a 79-year-old woman who was crossing the street in Yomitan Village, Tuesday night. The injured woman was taken to a hospital soon after the accident happened, but her condition took a sudden turn for the worse, and she died Saturday morning.

According to an eyewitness, the woman walked against a red pedestrian light when the accident happened.
