Police patrol car mishap injures womanDate Posted: 2001-08-16 According to the police, the accident happened when the police officer pulled the squad car over to the curb in order to talk with a friend he had spotted walking on the street during his patrol. He kept the engine running and stepped on the brakes while he was talking. When he tried start the squad car moving again, he noticed the woman in front and pushed the gas pedal by accident. The patrol car lurched forward and hit the woman and crashed into the back of another car. |
