Larger hotels, resort fare better than small onesDate Posted: 2001-08-16 The survey concluded that the average occupancy rate as of last year was 62 percent, which was 0.7 percent up from the previous year. The month of August ranked on the top with 82.4 percent, even though that was 6.5 percent down from the previous year influenced by the last year’s typhoons. The least occupied month was May with 49.8 percent. According to the size, large facilities that are capable of holding three hundred people or more recorded 64.1 percent average over the year. Smaller facilities’ occupancy rate stayed at rather low fifty percent. |
