The Naha Bus Company, which has a ¥3.8 billion debt it has accumulated over three years, is suspected of donating ¥200,000 to Governor Inamine’s Support Group. In Japan a company with a debt for more than three years in a row is prohibited from giving money to the government. The company is also accused of not paying retirement benefits to 240 workers. The Governor Inamine Support Group has said it will return the money within a week.
