Okinawa International Carnival Kicks Off Today

Gate 2 will be closed to cars and open only to pedestrians from 12:00pm-11:00pm on November 4th and from 2:00pm to 11:00pm on November 5th. (This may be changed later in the week). The events schedule for the Carnival is as follows:

November 2 (Thu)
Young Music Festival
Okinawa City Agricultural Center on Route 329

November 3 (Fri)
Bull Fight
Okinawa City Outdoor Field

November 4 (Sat): Pedestrian Precinct (No Cars Allowed) on Kuko-dori(Gate 2 Street) from 12:00-22:00 and a part of Park Avenue from 19:00-21:00.

November 5 (Sun): One lane of Route 330 (from Yamasato Intersection to Koza Intersection) will be closed from 15:30-19:00. Kuko-dori (Gate 2 Street) will be closed from 15:00-22:00.

10,000 People’s Parade(includes Eisa drums, Edo-era Historic Parade, Parade of fifty flags from each U.S State.)
