Something new: Live House Hopping ToursBy: David Knickerbocker Date Posted: 2001-08-03  Live House Hopping Tours, their invention, is a way for customers to buy a ticket for a given day, meet the tour at a designated location, and then go on a tour visiting each of the designated rock live houses in the Koza area. Tickets for the tour are $20 or ¥2,000 for a one-night ticket. They can be purchased at the Koza Dream Net office or at any of the participating live houses. During the tour, volunteer tour guides navigate the tourists to the following live houses in the following order for a 30 to 45 minute stay at each: Fujiyama, Hideaway, MOD’s, 7th Heaven Koza, Jet, and Jack Nasty. Here, they can have a drink while watching some of the bands Okinawa’s rock scene has become famous for. Tours meet in front of the Ryukyu Bank at the corner of Gate 2 Street and Hwy 330 at 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
