JSDF personnel suffers food poisoning in Naha

The Sanitary Section of the Prefectural Office announced Monday that 62 members of the Japan Maritime Self Defense Force suffered a food poisoning at their cafeteria in Naha.

The infected personnel reportedly had eaten meals in the cafeteria between June 20 and 27, and they suffered from diarrhea and fever. Four people had to stay in the hospital.

The cause is under investigation and the cafeteria has been closed.
