Kitadaito has highest per capita income in Okinawa

The Prefectural Department of Statistics on Feb. 27 announced its summary of 1999 income levels in Okinawa. According to the report, income for the entire prefecture averaged ¥2,176,000 per capita. Kitadaito Village had the highest average income at ¥3,691,000 per person, while Gusukube Town had the lowest with ¥1,250,000.
