Okinawa’s tourism ambassadors selected

2001 Miss Okinawa Pageant was held Sunday afternoon at RBC hall in Naha when Okinawa’s first 21st century tourism ambassadors were crowned.

The winners are a 22-year-old student Yorika Kobashigawa, another student, 21-year-old Seika Miyagi, and 22-year-old Ayano Kakinohana. The winners’ term is one year starting in August, and they will be sent to miscellaneous Okinawa tourism affiliated and other official events around the country.
