Motorcycle gang watcher beats up passer-by

Okinawa City Police is looking for a young man who reportedly beat up a 42-year-old man around three o’clock early morning. Sunday.

The victim was allegedly walking across Hwy 330 in Moromisato, Okinawa City, when he yelled at the motorcycle gang to stop making noise. A young man standing on a sidewalk then attacked the man who fell down and suffered an injury on his forehead. The assailant reportedly kicked the man on the back while he was lying on the ground, yelling “Don’t interrupt!” The police assume that the suspect is one of the so-called “watchers” who watch and cheer the gangs along streets.

The police say that they are looking for a man about 165 cm tall and 17 or 18 years old.
