Cycling Increases in Popularity

Date Posted: 2001-06-01

More people use bicycles in Okinawa since there are no trains for commuting. According to a survey conducted by the Bicycle Promotion Association in Tokyo, Okinawan people owned one bicycle per 7.5 people last year, up from one per 9.3 people in 93.
