Chatan Town officials have unveiled a plan to construct a tourism and health information center in the Mihama area next to Sunset Beach. The town has reserved funds in its next year’s budget to begin the construction work. The complex will feature a pool, sauna and a big screen display of health information. The building will also house a police box. The building is scheduled to be completed in 2003.
