3 Teens Arrested for Beating Up SchoolfellowDate Posted: 2001-03-09 According to the investigation, the three boys, all aged 15, called to the other boy, also 15, to come up some steps leading to a bus stop. Because it was 1 am and there were no buses running at that time, there was hardly anybody around. The three asked him to join their gang but he rejected the suggestion. The boys then became angry and kicked the victim’s face and stomach. They also hit him with a traffic cone and he did not fight back. Later at home he told his mother that he had a stomach ache. She called the school and at 9 am on the same day, the school called Urasoe police station and the boys were arrested. According to the school, the three boys in custody, who have admitted the crime, had discipline problems. They were frequently absent and used to make fun of other students. |
