Foreign Media Invited to Tea in Shikinaen

From July 15 to 20 there will be a tea in Shikinaen every day, and media from overseas are invited. The idea is to introduce Japanese traditional culture to foreigners. Shikinaen is a Chinese style garden with beautiful greenery. This park is going to be registered as World Heritage Site. It will be free for cameramen, reporters, etc. from other countries. Others apart from overseas media people can also attend the tea ceremony. The first fifty will be able to attend free every day. Then it will cost 500 per person. Opening hours are from 11 am to 4 pm.
