I just wanted to write and let you know how disappointed I was to see the Peaceful Love Rock Festival 2000 advertisement in the June 29 - July 5, 2000 edition of your paper. I was disappointed because I feel that this is a family paper and very public, and as part of the "public" I do not choose to be subjected to what I consider to be pornographic material (the woman is topless in the ad). Furthermore, I picked up the Japan Update at the Youth Center and feel that children should not be subjected to this either. I do not know if you are aware that the ad contained a topless woman or not. I hope that this is not the kind of advertising that is common with your paper and would recommend that future ads be checked for unappropriate content.
