G8 Fever Pitch Preparations

With only 50 days left before the G-8 Summit, promotion efforts by Okinawan officials are reaching fever pitch. Among planned events before the summit are the Summit Music Festival June 4, the Young Leaders’ Summit from June 11 through 15, and the G-8 High School Summit, June 24 through 26.

Several smaller events in different locations of the prefecture as well as cleaning campaigns will also be conducted.
