They say that they decided to locate the facilities in Ginowan City because of the expected strong growth in the local population and easy access from other parts of the Island. The company angered Naha City officials when they cancelled their plans to build a department store and a hotel in Ameku, Naha City, the former site of a U.S. Makiminato Housing Area, now under construction.
