A bonsai exhibition opened yesterday at Nishihara Newman store. The exhibition consists of 19 bonsai, miniature trees, and it will be open through Sunday. Organizers say that because of the excessive rain through much of the beginning of the year, growing bonsai has been difficult. Ryukyu pine and banyan trees are the most popular bonsai in Okinawa. Admission to the exhibition is free.
