Herabalife Boss Found Dead in Malibu

Mark Hughes, the multi-millionaire founder of weight loss empire Herbalife, has died aged 44. Hughes was found dead on Sunday in his mansion in Malibu, outside Los Angeles, USA. The company he founded in 1980, sells its products in 48 countries.

There will be a memorial service for Hughes at Kadena USO on Friday May 26 at 7 p.m. Mike Schroeder, clearly overcome by the unexpected death of his friend and mentor, described him as "the most caring person I've ever met". At the event Herbalife sellers and friends will pay tribute to the man who was inspired to found his company by the death of his mother, when he was 19, from an accidental overdose of diet pills.
