Okinawan Infleunces: Mixed Media Art Exhibition

There is an art exhibition “Okinawan Influences” by George E. Lamson throughout the month of May at the Rose Gallery in Gushikawa, daily 10 am to 10 pm. On display are 26 oil paintings, drawings and mixed media. On Friday May 12th there will be a wine and cheese party with the artist from 7 pm to 9 pm.

Directions: From Kadena Gate 2 go straight, turn left onto Hwy 330. Continue on Hwy 330/75 for 8km. Turn left before the A&W Root Beer Restaurant, near Bechtel School. The Rose Gallery is on the right, behind the A&W. It is on the mezzanine floor of the Rose Flower Shop. Tel. 972-7300.
