On April 1st, Juran, a restaurant named after an exotic herb found in southern China, made its anticipated re-opening in the Water Garden region of the Southeast Botanical Gardens. The wooden structure, next to the Polynesian pond is the perfect indoor dining facility for a relaxing meal of quality cuisine. The menu has been especially collaborated on by Juran's own main chefs, Iha-san, the Japanese dish specialist and Henzan-san, the American dish specialist. The broad-based selections of foods were carefully chosen by both chefs, with the aim of providing the perfect meal for any type of customer.

The Japanese lunches include a list of gozens, which is a customary tray meal consisting of several dishes in relatively small servings. The Irodori gozen, Is a colorful meal which includes three types of sobas and white fish tempura served with meat sauce. The gozens and bentos (box lunches) range from ´1300 to ´2500. If you'd like a more filling Japanese meal for a lesser price, the menu also has a list of sobas and donburis (rice dishes) available for ´850 to ´950. The American lunches include a list of steaks for ´1300 to ´1800 (200g cuts), and ´2,300 to ´2,800 (300g cut). For an additional ´500 the meal will include the soup-of-the-day, seasonal vegetables, a green salad, rice and coffee. Of course the choice sirloin steak is only a fraction of the menu.
