The countdown of the last 100 days to the Okinawa G8 Summit started yesterday with a ceremony held in front of Palette Kumoji building in Naha City. At the ceremony, Okinawa Prefecture Governor Keiichi Inamine urged people to work together to ensure that the summit is a success. The governor said “We all know that Okinawa has plenty of blessings, but the key task in front of us now is how we let the rest of the world know about them.”
