Experience the Pulse of Hard House, Techno and Trance

Kadena’s Gate 2 Street now vibrates to a pulsating rhythm four nights a week, and it all seems to be what most nightclub maniacs have long prayed would come to them right there. The Pulse Night Club, a new high sound music bar that offers Hard House, Techno and Trance, recently opened its doors to the public, and is now the place to be - the place to go - for most heartbeat rhythm fans.

Situated right at the junction between Gate 2 Street and 330, the Pulse Night Club was inaugurated under the a threesome managerial tandem including Sean Wilson (a former Marine Corps serviceman who has lived on the island for 3 years) and Ken “Doc” Day, a US Navy guy who has been around for over six years, and says he will soon be retiring so as to consecrate himself to business activities on the island.

“We chose to do hard House, Techno and Trance because we’re responding to market demands,” “Doc” Day explained to Japan Update. “People around Kadena and the whole of Okinawa City no longer want to drive all the way to Naha and pay $35 cover charges for good Techno bars there. It’s now possible for them to get the excitement and fall into the desired trance right here in Kadena, and for a much cheaper price.”

The Pulse Night Club, which seems very convenient for both local nationals and military personnel looking for hard musical experiences, offers a bright, clean, State-side environment at a very low and affordable cost. Cover charge on Friday and Saturday is only $10 or ¥1.000. On Wednesday and Thursday, the cover charge falls as low as ¥100 or $1. However, for the ladies, there is never any charge at all from 8:00-10:00 p.m. every night; they just have a free ride all the time.

Of course, as indicated, Pulse Night Club is open Wednesday through Saturday, from 8:00 p.m. Every Wednesday, the club offers a totally 80’s musical program.
