Okinawa Peace Prayer Park Museum Opens on April 1st

Okinawa Peace Prayer Park Museum, in Itoman City's Peace Prayer Park, is going to open on Saturday, April 1st. The construction of this museum started in August of 1997. The museum is a two-storey building with basement and a view tower. There are multiple purpose halls, an information library, a regular exhibit room, a special exhibit room, and a children’s exhibit room. The size of the property of this museum is 13,000 square meters. The construction cost ¥7.4 billion. The place is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. everyday, except Mondays. The entrance fee is ¥300 for adults and ¥150, but there will be no entrance fee on April 1st and 2nd.
