Big Night Out at the Loft in Shinjuku, Tokyo

For those planning to travel to Japan’s beautiful capital city, Tokyo, during this coming weekend, a “Big Night Out” event has been scheduled at the Shinjuku Loft, one of the favorite springtime cultural spots. The organizers say it is expected to be a huge night, the highlight of which will be the live performances by popular Australian bands such as Not From There, Something for Kate and Mr. Blonde.

The bands are made up of some the finest songwriting talent in Australia at the moment. Not From There is a nomadic threesome from Brisbane, Australia which offers a unique brand of sonic rock/indie pop and fusion. The band recently received the Australian Recording Industry Awards for best Alternative Release. The group's guitarist, Heinz Reigler, is a native of... Austria. They will play at the Loft Shinjuku along with several bands on Saturday the 25th from 5:30 p.m. till dawn on Sunday. The all-night-affair will also include other bands like Orangey, Quivering Palm, Velocity Boy, Planets Groove, Sway, Tinanongue, Caberet Kick, Buffalo chicken F. Roonie Tunes, Water Ball, DJ Fokus and more.

Tickets for the Big Night Out are already selling at the price of ¥2,500 in advance. At the door, ticket will be ¥3,000 or ¥2,500 plus drink or flyer.
